Skopje. Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Mr. Solomon Passy signed an agreement with Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski appointing him as "special advisor" to the Macedonian Government on Euro-Atlantic integration.

"I am happy to assist Macedonia on its road to NATO, sharing Bulgaria's difficult experience and painful mistakes", said Solomon Passy.

Macedonia which is a member of PfP since 1995, hopes to recieve an invitation for NATO membership at the summit in Budapest in 2008.
