Work Programme

Proposals to be included in the weekly programme, submitted by parliamentary groups, pursuant to art. 43, para. 7 of the Rules of Organization and Procedure of the National Assembly - no proposals received.

The weekly work programme, drawn up by the parliament’s leadership and adopted by MPs is as follows:

1. Draft resolution on suspension of the MPs basic monthly salary update (submitted by Iskra Fidosova, Rumen Ivanov, Menda Stoyanova on 10.03.2010).

2. First reading, bill on amendment and supplement to the Physical Education and Sports Act (submitted by: Council of Ministers on 21.12.2009) - continuation.

3. First reading of the amendments to the Crafts Act (submitted by: Council of Ministers on 7.01.2010).

4. Bill on ratification of the amendment to Art. XXI of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (submitted by: Council of Ministers on 5.2.2010).

5. Bill on ratification of the amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Swiss Confederation on the Provision of Financial Support (Submitted by: Council of Ministers on 12.2.2010).

6. Second reading of the bill to amend and supplement the Foods Act (adopted at first reading on 11.2.2010).

7. First reading of the bill on amendment and supplement to the Seeds and Seedlings Material Act (submitted by: Council of Ministers on 15.1.2010).

8. Second reading of the bill on amendment and supplement to the Public Administration Act (passed at first reading on 3.2.2010).

9. Second reading of the bill on amendment and supplement to the Notaries and Notarial Activity Act(approved at first reading on 20.1.2010).

10. Second reading of the bill of amendments to the Integration of Persons with Disabilities Act (adopted at first reading on 10.2.2010).

11. First reading of the bill on Weapons, Ammunition, Explosives and Pyrotechnic Articles (mover: Council of Ministers on 19.1.2010).


12. Bill on ratification of the acts adopted by the XXIVth Congress of the Universal Postal Union (submitted by Council of Ministers on 18.2.2010).

13. First reading, bill on amendment and supplement to the Electronic Communications Act (submitted by Council of Ministers on 28.12.2009).

14. Second reading of the bill on amendment and supplement to the Genetically Modified Organisms Act (adopted at first reading on 13.1.2010).

15. Second reading of the bill on amendment to the Criminal Code (an aggregate draft prepared by the Committee on Legal Affairs, based on the drafts passed at first reading on 16.12.2009).

16. First reading, bill on amendment and supplement to the Act to Resolve Housing Problems of Citizens with Housing Savings Accounts of Long Standing (Housing Savings Accounts Act) (submitted: Yane Yanev and a group of MPs on 19.11.2009).
