All nominations of candidates for members of the Supreme Judicial Council from the parliamentary quota, which have been submitted to the National Assembly, conform to the requirements for admissibility and will be admitted to hearing in accordance with the Rules of Procedure for the election of SJC members adopted by the National Assembly. At its meeting held on 4 September 2012 the M.P.s from the Legal Affairs Committee verified the applied documents as to their admissibility and drafted a list of the candidates admitted to hearing.

The hearing, to which representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and non-governmental organizations have been invited, is scheduled to take place on 11 September 2012, at 10 a.m. in the National Assembly Chamber.

A total of 17 nominations of candidates for SJC members from the parliamentary quota have been filed with the National Assembly.
