After January 1, 2007, the European Ombudsman will have the capacity to answer citizens' complaints in Bulgarian language, EU Ombudsman Nikiforos Diamandouros said to media at the National Assembly.

Prof. Diamandouros was received by National Assembly Deputy Chairman Prof.Lyuben Kornezov on 29 November 2006. He also met with the leaderships of the European Integration Committee, the Human Rights and Religious Affairs Committee, the Citizens' Complaints and Petitions Committee and the Combating Corruption Committee.
