With 165 votes in favour, none against, and 48 abstentions the National Assembly adopted Resolution on allowing the overflight, temporary presence and transit passage through and on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria of forces and personnel of the US and of other states of the coalition and on sending and deploying Bulgarian nuclear, biological and chemical defence units in support of the planning of a possible coalition operation in connection with the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1441.
