Parliament grants financial aid to the victims of the road accident near Byala

The National Assembly will grant 40,000 leva financial aid to the victims of the tragic road accident near Byala, National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski said after the meeting of the Presiding Body of Parliament. The funds have been raised from unpaid salaries and fines of MPs imposed for absence from Parliament.
The tragic road accident, in which eighteen people died and fourteen were injured, happened on 7 December 2006 near the town of Byala, Rousse Region.
