The Human Rights and Religious Affairs Committee will hold an extraordinary meeting on 22 December 2006, Friday, at 11.00 a.m., to discuss the options for action in connection with the fate of the Bulgarian nurses and the Palestinian doctor sentenced to death in Libya.

Attending the meeting will also be members of other parliamentary committees.

At its meeting on 20 December 2006, the Presiding Body of Parliament decided that the Human Rights and Religious Affairs Committee will be involved in the case as part of the measures Bulgaria's Parliament will undertake in connection with the fate of the Bulgarian nurses and the Palestinian doctor sentenced to death in Libya.
