Georgi Pirinski is taking part in the first of the series of public debates entitled “Discourses on Europe” within the Initiative “A Soul for Europe”

National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski is taking part in the first of the series of public debates entitled “Discourses on Europe” within the Initiative “A Soul for Europe”.

The forum is taking place in Brussels on 29 January 2007 and is hosted by the European Economic and Social Committee. The event is jointly organised by the European Parliament and the European Economic and Social Committee.

The session was opened by European Economic and Social Committee President Dimitris Dimitriadis and the Spokesman of the Initiative “A Soul for Europe” Volker Hassemer.

European Parliament President Hans-Gert Poettering introduced the discourses. European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and MEPs are also among the participants.

In the Belgium capital National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski will meet with the Chairwoman of the Belgian Senate Anne-Marie Lizin and the Spokespersons of the Initiative “A Soul for Europe” Volker Hassemer and Nele Hertling.

Pirinski is also scheduled to meet with the National Federation of Belgium Nurses.
