The activity of the Parliamentary Students Internship Program over the last eight years and the prospects of its development were presented at the National Assembly in the presence of National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski, the US Ambassador to Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. John Beyerle, USAID Mission Director Michael Fritz and MPs.

The National Assembly will continue to finance by its own funds the Parliamentary Students Internship Program which was implemented under the agreement between the US Government and the Bulgarian Government with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) so far, National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski said.

At the closing meeting National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski and Ambassador Beyerle presented certificates to students who have successfully completed the programme.
