On 15 March 2007, National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski met with a Macedonian parliamentary delegation, led by the Chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Macedonian Parliament Mrs. Flora Kadriu.

Attending the meeting was the Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Solomon Passy at whose invitation the Macedonian parliamentarians' visit is paid.

The wish for developing fruitful cooperation in all areas of bilateral relations between the neighbouring countries was reaffirmed during the talks. The role of the parliamentary institutions for intensifying the cooperation process between the two countries was stressed, as well as the possibilities of the parliamentary committees and friendship groups to promote concrete initiatives and projects of mutual interest.
