"The living memory of the people of Bulgaria for the Batak massacre can not be changed and rewritten," MPs for Pazadzhik Constituency said in a declaration against so called "the Myth for Batak" project.

The declaration was signed by Georgi Pirinski, Iglika Ivanova, Marco Mechev, Kostadin Kobakov, Petya Gegova, Valentin Miltenov, Ivan Kolchakov and Stanislav Stanilov MPs.

In it, the Bulgarian Members of Parliament said they categorically denied these attempts for unprecedented insult to the historic memory of Bulgarians.
