Rejected Presidential Veto on the Amending Bill to the Privatisation and Post-Privatisation Control Act

The National Assembly rejected the President Georgi Parvanov’s veto on the Amending Bill to the Privatisation and Post-Privatisation Control Act with 125 votes in favour, one – against and one abstention. The act was adopted unrevised. The Parliamentary Union of the United Democratic Forces, Parliamentary Group of the Coalition for Bulgaria and the independent MPs did not participate in the voting.

The Amending Bill to the Privatisation and Post-Privatisation Control Act was adopted by the National Assembly on 7.02.2003 and returned by a Presidential Decree No 62 pursuant to Article 101 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria.
