Six MPs were sworn in before the National Assembly on 30 May 2007: Ivan Georgiev Ivanov (PG of Coalition for Bulgaria), Dobromir Zadgorski (PG of Coalition for Bulgaria), Diana Hitova (PG of Coalition for Bulgaria), Husein Hamdi (PG of Movement for Rights and Freedoms), Denitza Gadjeva (PG of Ataka) and Hristo Popov (PG of Ataka).

They will replace MPs who were recently elected Members of the European Parliament.

At the same plenary sitting, the National Assembly ratified the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Hellenic Republic relating to the cooperation in the construction and the operation of the "Bourgas - Alexandroupolis" oil pipeline with 109 votes in favour, 19 votes against and 3 abstained.
