PABSEC unanimously voted a statement regarding the energy problem faced by Southeast European countries

Participants in the 29th plenary session of the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization unanimously voted a statement regarding the energy problem faced by Southeast European countries.

Bulgaria hosted the spring plenary session of the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (PABSEC). The regional forum took place in Varna on 13 and 14 June 2007. Over 140 MPs, representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission, observers and guests participated in it.

Georgia took over PABSEC presidency as of 1 July 2007.

Four new PABSEC vice presidents were elected at the session, including Mr. Petar Dimitrov, Head of the Bulgarian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization.
