Parliament voted structural and personnel changes in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria

At its plenary sitting on 18 July 2007, the National Assembly adopted resolutions on structural and personnel changes in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria.
With 157 votes in favour, 57 votes against and 3 abstentions, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was transformed into Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs.
Within a month following this transformation, a State Agency for Forestry is to be established by the Council of Ministers.
The National Assembly also passed personnel changes in the Council of Ministers by 152 votes in favour, 57 against and 4 abstentions.
Petar Dimitrov was elected Minister of Economy and Energy.
Miglena Tacheva was elected Minister of Justice.
Nihat Kabil was elected Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuffs.
