The development of the bilateral relations in the field of economy, education and science, technologies, as well as the stimulating the trade between Bulgaria and China were discussed at the meeting between the Vice-President of the National Assembly Mr. Younal Loutfi and the Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Xie Hanjsheng.

As part of the discussion, the issue of the war in Iraq was mentioned. The two sides agreed on the United Nations Security Council’s key role in post-war Iraq.

Mr. Hanjsheng stressed that the good relations between Bulgaria and China had been preserved and as a proof he pointed the visits on highest level between the two countries.

In conclusion, Mr. Loutfi and Mr. Hanjsheng voiced the hope that the two states would continue their good relations and seek new possibilities to develop and intensify cooperation between Bulgaria and China.
