The Consultative Council on Legislation to the Chairman of the 40th National Assembly held its concluding meeting on 25 July 2007. Attending the event was National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski.

A report on the Council’s activity for the period from November 2006 to July 2007 was presented at the meeting. The Consultative Council on Legislation drafted 89 opinions on bills and other legislative acts for that period, Council Chair Prof. Sredkova reported.

Thirty-eight of the opinions concern bills submitted by Council of Ministers, 45 - bills submitted by MPs and the rest are on other legislative acts. The opinions totalled 1502 pages.
