Today, 26 March 2003, the President of the National Assembly Prof. Ognian Gerdjikov met representatives of the student parliament and student government of the Southwestern University “Neofit Rilski” – Blagoevgrad.

The students delivered to the National Assembly President a Code of Student Self-Government. They acquainted Prof. Gerdjikov with the goals and tasks of the bodies of student self-government. Discussing the most important issues of student life, students’ participation in syllabus drafting, educational work and the building of the contemporary ethical values are among the basic functions of the student parliament.

Ms. Kina Radkova, President of the Student Parliament, extended invitation to Prof. Gerdjikov to visit the Southwestern University.
