Meeting – President of the National Assembly – Indian Ambassador

“Bulgaria supports the Comprehensive Convention on Combating International Terrorism submitted by India in the United Nations,” the President of the National Assembly Gerdjikov stated at his meeting with Ambassador Dinkar Khullar of India.
Prof. Gerdjikov expressed satisfaction that Bulgaria and India, as democratic countries, stand categorically for combating international terrorism. Ambassador Khullar pointed that all countries are threatened by the acts of terrorism and India has been trying to fight against all forms of terrorism.
International terrorism is the greatest threat for the peace in the world and all democratic states must stand against it, the National Assembly President stressed.
Prof. Gerdjikov acquainted the guest with Bulgarian foreign political priorities and the National Assembly’s activity. He extended an invitation to the Speaker of the House of People of the Indian Parliament Mr. Manohar Joshi to pay a visit to Bulgaria in September.
