The State Budget for 2008 Bill was introduced into the National Assembly

On 31 October 2007, Minister of Finance Plamen Oresharski delivered the State Budget for 2008 Bill to National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski.
"The words that best describe the draft 2008 budget are sustainability and development," Minister Oresharski said in his statement for the media.
Education, healthcare, social assistance and care are among the priority sectors in the draft 2008 budget, he pointed out.
