22/11/2007
At its plenary sitting on 22 November 2007, the National Assembly adopted at first reading amendments to the Protection, Rehabilitation and Social Integration of Disabled Persons Act, moved by Hristina Hristova, MP of National Movement Simeon II, and Peter Mrutskov, MP of Coalition for Bulgaria. Under the amendments, the registered providers of medical products, technical aids, assistive devices and equipment for persons with disabilities will be able to provide them and repair them until 31 December 2007, as well as to receive the resources allocated for this by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities until expiry of their serviceability. The revisions are related to amendments to the same Act adopted in June 2007, regarding the registration requirements for providers of technical aids and medical products and with the conditions for their provision.
Parliament discussed at first reading three bills amending the Income Taxes on Natural Persons Act and revisions of the Local Taxes and Fees Act.
