On its sitting on February, 22 the National Assembly approved on second reading amendments to the Encoragement of Employment Act.
The amendments foresee state subsidies for employment and education for a period of 12 months for unemployed mothers with children, 3 to 5 years old. For every vacancy on which an unemployed mother with children 3-5 years old and directed by the Employment Agency, is hired , the employer will receive state funds for the time of employment for a period not longer than 12 months. According to the Act the volume of the funds allocated to the different programmes and measures to secure employment will be determined every year with the National Plan for action on the Employment .
