National Assembly Elects Georgi Petkanov to Fill in the Vacancy in the Constitutional Court

Georgi Petkanov was elected to fill in the Constitutional Court judge’s position on June 4, 2008. He was nominated by the parliamentary groups of the National Movement Simeon II, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the Coalition for Bulgaria.
Parliament initiated debates over the Annual report for 2007 of the Ombudsman of Bulgaria Guinio Ganev. The report contains conclusions and recommendations for better governance in the interest of citizens.
