Georgi Pirinski Convenes an Extraordinary Meeting of the Chairman’s Council to Consider the Situation with the Blasts in the Capital’s Outskirts

The Council’s meeting took place before the sitting of the National Assembly on July 3, 2008. National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski asked the Minister of the Interior to brief the members of the Chairman’s Council over the blasts in the munitions depots near Sofia.
The Minister informed the members of the Council. He assured that there were no data for injuries and casualties, but considerable damages were inflicted
Chairman Pirinski and MPs remain on alert and awaiting additional information from the Government.
