In his greeting address to the National Assembly Chairman, the President of Bulgaria, Georgi Purvanov notes that since the time of the National Round Table in the1990 up to the present, Georgi Pirinski remains one of the few names in the current political life of the country who has such a long active and consistent contribution to the establishing of the constitutional and parliamentary order in the country and the implementation of the changes in the Bulgarian society through national consent and reconciliation.

His Holiness the Bulgarian patriarch Maxim extended his wishes for a long and happy life to Georgi Pirinski. He said that Georgi Pirinski, in his capacity as head of the Bulgarian parliament, has always worked diligently and has aimed at uniting the members of parliament and making their works useful and beneficial to the Holy Church, to the Bulgarian people and to his fatherland.

Georgi Pirinski also received wishes for future success, for the prosperity of Bulgaria and for the further development of the Bulgarian-Russian relations from His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia. “Your life as a great statesman and a brilliant political leader in contemporary Bulgaria is a clear proof that people confide their trust on those representing them who have demonstrated their loyalty to the national interests and who have regularly and persistently defended their rights and freedoms and were committed to the spiritual growth of their compatriots” is written in the greetings of the Russian patriarch.

The Chairman of the National Assembly received congratulations on behalf of Bulgarian and foreign parliamentarians.
In his address, the Chairman of The Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Mironov, states “Your active participation in the political and social life of Bulgaria has given you the opportunity to achieve great results and to become a remarkable political figure”.

Georgi Pirinski was called by the Speaker of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan Oktay Assadov.

The head of the German Embassy in Bulgaria has forwarded a greeting letter in which he points out the consistent commitment of Georgi Pirinski to promote the cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and Bulgaria as well as to maintain active and constant relations with his counterpart in the German Bundestag Dr Norbert Lammert.

Georgi Pirinski was greeted by politicians and public figures, leaders of state institutions and civic organizations, local authorities’ representatives, trade unions, the academia and the media.
