The National Assembly Chairman Georgi Pirinski met on October 1, 2008 with the Head of the Inspectorate to the Supreme Judicial Council Anna Karaivanova. She briefed Mr. Pirinski on the activities of her institution and on the findings of the inspections held so far.

Both sides shared the opinion that the Inspectorate should be provided with adequate conditions for work and that the efforts of the Inspectorate to eliminate the weaknesses and gaps of the Judiciary need the support of both parliament and other state institutions.
