The adoption of the Declaration on the occasion of the World Diabetes Day proves the commitment of the Bulgarian parliament to fight this socially significant illness. In Bulgaria 7, 6 % of the population suffers from this illness and it is among the first on the morbidity list of the nation. In the World, one person dies every 10 seconds, due to complications of the disease, says the declaration. A national program and action plan were set up to prevent and contain the spread and the expenditures for the treatment of Diabetes in Bulgaria. The declaration also points to the need to launch information campaigns for prevention of the disease.

MPs passed, at second reading, the bill on the single European emergency call number 112 and the bill on Labor Inspection.
