On the motion of the Parliamentary Union of the United Democratic Forces, today’s plenary sitting started with consideration of the bill on Electoral Code, submitted by Emil Koshlukov and a group of MPs on 24.09.2002. The National Assembly adopted the bill at first reading with 160 votes in favour, 1 vote against and 14 abstentions.

The Parliament rejected the draft resolution on assigning the Council of Ministers to update the budget of the National Health Insurance Fund for 2003, submitted by Plamen Kenarov and a group of MPs on 28.03.2003.

The consideration at second reading of the amendments to The Spatial Development Act, submitted by Council of Ministers on 4.11.2002, continued today. The amending bill passed to Article 75 inclusive.
