Georgi Pirinski Sends Condolences to the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church for the Death of His Holiness Alexy II, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia

The National Assembly chairman Georgi Pirinski has sent on 5 December 2008 a condolence letter to the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church in connection with the death of his Holiness Alexy II, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.
The letter says:
“Please accept my deepest condolences for the death of His Holiness Alexy II, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.
The personality of Patriarch Alexy II will leave a lasting trace of someone exemplifying full love of mankind and high spiritual virtues. He was an activist and inspiring force behind the dialogue needed so much in the world today, between religions, cultures and civilizations.
In Bulgaria he will be remembered by his wise words about the historic closeness of our two people and its importance for the future. There is no doubt that this legacy will be preserved and followed.
We pay homage to the noble personality and intransient deeds of Patriarch Alexy II.”
The letter says:
