The President of the National Assembly Prof. Ognian Gerdjikov invited today the MPs from the Parliamentary Group of Simeon the Second National Movement to a meeting where to consider and analyze the political situation after the statement of the Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotha in Bankya yesterday.

The participants in the meeting united around the position to support the proposed by the Premier nomination for a new chairperson of the majority at the regular meeting of PG of SSNM tomorrow. Concerning the election of a new leadership of the Parliamentary Group, it would be beneficial to follow the principle of continuity by including some of the current members of the PG leadership in the future one, was the common view of the MPs.

The meeting also discussed issues related to the necessity of a more efficient dialogue within the Parliamentary Group, as well as between the executive and legislative powers.
