23/01/2009
January 23, 2009
The National Assembly adopted, on January 23, 2009, amendments to the Law on the Medicinal Products in Humane Medicine, concerning the deadline for the preparation of the positive drug list. It was extended till March 31, 2009. The term before the changes was fixed at January 30th, 2009. The deadline extension was imposed by the numerous applications for inclusion in the list of certain drugs, received in the last two months of the preceding year and the procedure requiring more time to do so. The Positive drug list is set up to cover the cost of drugs with funds from the state budget, the National Health Insurance Fund and the hospitals. The purpose of the positive list is to regulate and ultimately decrease the prices of drugs.
