National Assembly chairman Georgi Pirinski has sent, February 22, 2009 condolence letters to the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, Pavol Paska and to the Chairman of the All-China Assembly of People’s Representatives, Wu Pang-kuo. The condolences were extended in connection with the transport accident in the Slovak Republic that lead to the perish and injuries of several tenths of Slovak citizens and with the deadly explosion in a coal mine in the Northern Chinese city of Gujiao that caused the death of a great number of miners. In the letters, chairman Pirinski expresses sympathy and solidarity with the families of the injured and the victims, on his behalf and on behalf of Bulgaria's National Assembly.
