National Assembly Rejects the Non – Confidence Vote against the Cabinet

The National Assembly rejected, on February 26, 2009, the consecutive non-confidence vote against the government. The draft resolution, seeking the non-confidence vote over what the opposition sees as the overall failure of its policy, was defeated on 145 - 85 votes, with no abstentions. The motion was submitted by 73 MPs from the opposition.
