The protesting workers and employees of the Steel mill Kremikovtsi submitted to the NA declaration, asking parliament to urgently examine the situation in the factory and to start immediate investigations against the persons and institutions guilty for its current catastrophic state. The economic status of the enterprise, according to the protesters, will lead to future economic and social disturbances. They want a compensation program to be set up for redundant workers, which should include measures for retraining, early retirement and financial compensations of up to 30 monthly salaries.
