The National Assembly adopted structural and personal changes in the Council of Ministers

With 120 votes in favour, 108 votes against and 5 abstentions, the National Assembly adopted a decision on structural changes in the Council of Ministers. With this decision, the number of the deputy prime ministers has been changed from two to three.

With 119 votes in favour, 107 votes against and 7 abstentions, the National Assembly adopted a decision on personal changes in the Council of Ministers.
The Parliament has decided:
1. Dismisses:
Nikolay Vassilev as Minister of Economy;
Lydia Shouleva as Minister of Labour and Social Policy;
Vladimir Atanassov as Minister of Education and Science;
Plamen Petrov as Minister of Transport and Communications;
Bojidar Finkov as Minister of Health;
Nezhdet Mollov as Minister without Portfolio.

2. Elects:
Plamen Panayotov as Deputy Prime Minister;
Nikolay Vassilev as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications;
Lydia Shouleva as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy;
Hristina Hristova as Minister of Labour and Social Policy;
Slavcho Bogoev as Minister of Health;
Igor Damyanov as Minister of Education and Science;
Filiz Hyusmenova as Minister without Portfolio.
