Leaders of foreign parliaments congratulate Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva on the occasion of her election as President of the 41st National Assembly

Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva has received congratulatory letters from heads of foreign parliaments on the occasion of her election as President of the 41 National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria. All leaders extend their best wishes to the first woman nominated for this post in Bulgaria and express hope that under her leadership the cooperation between the parliaments of their countries and the National Assembly will further enlarge and deepen.
The Speaker of Kingdom of Sweden’s Parliament (Riksdag) Per Westerberg states in his letter, his confidence that the excellent contacts between the parliaments of the two countries will further enhance. He also expresses hope that the current EU presidency of his country would give them an opportunity to meet soon.
Prof. Norbert Lamert, President of Federal Germany’s Bundestag congratulates Mrs. Tsacheva on his personal and his parliament’s behalf. He underscores that the diversity in the relations between Germany and Bulgaria influences in a very positive way the ties between the parliaments of the two countries and expresses hope that in the years to come they will further develop and deepen.
Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva received also congratulations on behalf of Italy’s Parliament Chamber of Deputies through the Speaker Gianfranco Fini, on behalf of Greece’s parliament from Dimitris Sufas, from Latvia’s parliamentary Speaker Gundars Daudze, Lithuania’s Arunas Valinskas, Slovenia’s Pavel Gantar, from the head of the Czech Chamber of Deputies Miloslav Vlcek, from the President of Hungary’s State Assembly Каtalin Szili as well as from the leader of Cyprus’ Chamber of Representatives Marios Karoyian.
The newly elected president of the National Assembly of Bulgaria received congratulations from the Chairmen of the Russian Federation State Duma and the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly Boris Grizlov and Sergey Mironov. Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva also received letters from the leaders of Croatia’s Sabor - Luka Bebich, from the Republic of Serbia’s National Assembly Speaker Dr Slavica Djukic - Dejanovic, from Macedonia’s Trayko Veljanovski, the Albanian Jozefina Topalli and from Armenia’s National Assembly Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan.
Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva received greetings on her new appointment from the parliamentary heads of Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia.
