The Budget and Finance Committee members voted in support of two ratification bills – the first on the Agreement between the EU member countries, participating in the program “Interact 2007-2013” and the Self-Government of the District of Bratislava in its capacity of Managing Body together with the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic in its capacity of Auditor, regarding the implementation of Operational Program “Interact 2007-2013”, and the second being on the Agreement between the EU member states and the countries partners in the implementation of “Operational program ESPON 2013” and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in its capacity of Managing and Certifying body of the said program. The draft ratification documents were submitted by the Council of Ministers to the National Assembly on 21 July 2009.

The Budget and Finance Committee also approved a draft resolution with regards to the National Bank Deputy Governor nomination, a joint proposition of Menda Stoyanova, the Budget and Finance Committee Chair and Iskra Fidosova – the Legal Affairs Committee Chairwoman as well as a draft resolution appointing the National Audit Office to hold an audit of the budget and assets of the Ministerial Council. The draft resolution was moved by MPs Stoyan Mavrodiev and Dimiter Glavchev.
