Mrs. Tsacheva has sent her congratulations to the workers in the mining industry in connection with their professional holiday – the National Miner’s Day – celebrated every year on August 18th.
She has sent a letter to the head, eng. Lachezar Tsotsorov, and the members of the Committee, organizing the celebration throughout the country. The Speaker of the National Assembly extended wishes for good health and well being to all working in this sector of the economy. “We need to express our deepest respect and recognition to all those working in the coal and ore mining for their tireless efforts and not easy life”, says the address. We should constantly convey to them our gratitude and care, adds Mrs. Tsacheva.
I want to thank the Bulgarian Chamber of Mining and Geology for the fact that at the very beginning of the calendar year, in partnership with the trade unions from the different branches in the industry they have completed and provided a thorough analysis of the current state of this key for our country industry and have focused the society’s attention on the possible negative effects that the World financial crisis might have on it.
We feel obliged to encourage every initiative and policy aimed at providing an optimistic prospect for the enterprises of the mining industry, such that would improve their competitive strength in the dynamic European market. I would like to assure you that such efforts will always meet the support of the National Assembly as well as my personal one.
