The National Assembly voted on August 20th to assign the National Audit Office with checking up the implementation of the budget of the Council of Ministers in the period of January 1, 2008 until July 31 of 2009 as well as to make full inspection of its property. The decision was supported by 201 MPs with none against or abstaining.

The audit should be completed by September 30th, and by October 30th submitted in parliament.

The tasks set also for the CM budget audit envisage in particular such financial programs as the “National priorities setting and coordination”, the one of the “National Housing Compensation Fund” and the“Administration”.

With 146 votes “for” and 59 “against” the nominations for Governor and Deputy Governor of the National Bank by the previous parliament were revoked.
