The Chair of the National Assembly attended the consecration of the new Metropolitan chapel "St. Marina" and congratulated His Holiness Patriarch Maxim on the occasion of his 95th Birthday

National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva attended on October 29, 2009 the Divine Liturgy, served by His Holiness Patriarch Maxim for the consecration of the new Metropolitan chapel dedicated to "St. Marina”.
On the occasion of his 95th birthday, the Speaker of Parliament awarded His Holiness with the honorary medal "130 years National Assembly”. Tsetska Tsacheva wished the Bulgarian Patriarch good health, many years ahead of beneficial spiritual and selfless service in the name of faith.
The Chair of Bulgarian parliament assured the Patriarch that he will always have the support of the legislature in his devoted work for the good of the Christian Church and the spiritual progress of Bulgaria. “Let the power of faith to bestow Your Holiness with vigor, longevity, and light”, wished the Patriarch of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church Tsetska Tsacheva.
