The Speaker of Parliament attended the formal graduation ceremony and award of diplomas to the physicians of class 2009 of the Medical University in Pleven

The National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva has attended the formal ceremony and award of diplomas to the new graduates from the Faculty of Medicine class 2009 of the Medical University in Pleven. The event was also attended by the Minister of Education, Youth and Science, Prof. Dr. Sergey Ignatov.

The Chair of Parliament presented Vladimira Stoykova, cum laude graduate with the "Golden Hippocrates" award for her best grade at all, including the final state exams performance – 6.00.
National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva inaugurated the renovated educational hall "Magnum", which was equipped with the most advanced audio-visual technology, establishing direct telecommunication connection with the Endoscopic Training Center at the Medical University.

Later on , the Chair of Parliament and Minister Rosen Plevneliev opened the reconstructed road Pleven-Nikopol, which will speed up the travelers between Bulgaria and Romania to reach the Ferry over the Danube between Nikopol and Turnu Magurele.

The repair of the 45 km stretch was financed by the PHARE - Cross-Border Cooperation Program between Bulgaria and Romania, with additional funds allocated from the state budget.
