National Assembly has decided to extend with two years the term in which people undergone political repressions before 1989 can claim for compensations

The above opportunity was stipulated by the NA, on December 22, 2009 with the amendments it passed to the Civil and Political Vindication for Individuals who Have Undergone Repressive Actions Act. It gives a chance to those who have missed the previous June 29, 1996 and December 31, 2009 deadlines and extends the date until the end of 2011.
