Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva opens the Second Session of the 41st National Assembly

Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva opened on January 13, 2010 the Second Session of the 41st National Assembly. The opening was attended by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and members of the Council of Ministers.
At the beginning of the first plenary meeting in 2010, National Assembly President congratulated all deputies with the New Year and wished them health and strength to successfully fulfill their mission to serve the Republic of Bulgaria.
Tsetska Tsacheva conveyed to the assembly’s members greetings on behalf of the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek. She briefed the MPs on her yesterday’s visit to the European Parliament. She noted that the president of the European Parliament had accepted her invitation to visit Bulgaria. This is likely to happen in the first three months of 2010, she said.
Prime Minister Boyko Borisov addressed the assembly on the occasion of the new session’s beginning.
Senior representatives of all parliamentary groups in the 41st National Assembly took the floor to state their priorities for the new political season.
