National Assembly to set up a temporary comittee for the elaboration of Electoral Code

The National Assembly decided on February 11, 2010, to set up a temporary committee whose task will be the draft of an Electoral Code. The committee is to consist of 15 MPs - three from each parliamentary group. The deadline for the committee's work was fixed at 6 months. Iskra Fidosova was elected to chair the committee. Members are Todor Lazarov and Dimitar Dimitrov / PG GERB /, Ekaterina Mihailova, Dimo Gyaurov, Mihail Mihailov / PG of the Blue Coalition /. Representing Ataka PG will be Desislav Chukolov, Yavor Notev and Ognyan Stoichkov, while the PG of MRF by Yanko Yankov, Kazak and Remzi Çetin Osman. The parliamentary Group of Coalition for Bulgaria is to be represented by Maya Manolova, Dimcho Mihalevski and Luben Kornezov. The committee will follow the usual rules of procedure of the standing parliamentary committees.
