Tsetska Tsacheva and the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey: The excellent political relations between Bulgaria and Turkey are complemented by the shared aspiration of the two countries towards seeking and implementing new solutions for partnership in South East Europe
07/06/2010
The excellent political relations between Bulgaria and Turkey are complemented by the shared aspiration of the two countries towards seeking and implementing new solutions for partnership in South East Europe. This has been stated during the bilateral meeting of the President of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva and the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mehmet Ali Sahin. The two held talks in the framework of the 8th Conference of SEECP Speakers of Parliament taking place in Antalya. The trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Turkey have reached their peak in 2008 when the bilateral commercial exchange amounted to US 3.7 billion. The global economic crisis resulted in a drop of the commercial exchange in 2009, however in the first quarter of 2010 a tendency of increase has been observed, the two Speakers underscored with satisfaction.

Tsetska Tsacheva extended an invitation to Mehmet Ali Sahin to pay a visit to Bulgaria as a head of an official parliamentary delegation.
