Photo -exhibition titled: "The work of the master of the Bulgarian Revival Nikola Fichev” on a visit to the National Assembly

President Tsetska Tsacheva opened at the National Assembly on October 13, 2010, an exhibition of photographs showing works of the construction master of the Bulgarian Revival Kolyu Ficheto. The exhibition marks the 210 years since the birth of Nikola Fichev (nicknamed Kolyu Ficheto) and is carried under the auspices of Tsetska Tsacheva. 20 photographs present the craftsmanship of the master.
In the opening address, the chair of the parliament noted that Kolyu Ficheto is a renowned builder and architect, who inherited in his style the traditions and spirit of the Bulgarian National Revival and the creativity of the masters of the classical national architecture. Tsetska Tsacheva recalled that he was the builder of the house of the Constituent Assembly in Veliko Tarnovo. She added that the Bulgarian Parliament is visited by many students, offering them the opportunity to re-collect on the art of the master and promote it among young people.
The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by a performance of the National Radio Children's Choir, conducted by Hristo Nedyalkov – a relative to Nikola Fichev from the town of Drianovets.
