National Assembly President Prof. Ognian Gerdjikov sent congratulatory letters to the mayors of the regional centres. Prof. Gerdjikov congratulated the newly elected and re-elected mayors for the high confidence voted them by their fellow citizens and wished them successful and fruitful work as mayors.

“Let the advantages of developed local self-government turn into welfare for all citizens of your municipality,” the letters said.
