The Chairperson of the parliamentary group for friendship between Bulgaria and Serbia Iskra Fidosova took part in the talks.

At the meeting the two parties expressed satisfaction with the active political dialogue between the two countries. They agreed that the latter should continue to grow in the interest of the two neighboring nations. National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva focused on the further development of parliamentary cooperation and stressed the importance of establishing direct relations between the parliamentary committees of the two legislatures.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia pointed out that the main task of politicians is to stimulate trade and economic relations. In this regard, the two sides shared the opinion that the ongoing currently in Bulgaria Fifth Session of the Joint Intergovernmental Bulgarian - Serb Commission for Economic Cooperation is an important prerequisite for strengthening the institutional and business level contacts and for expansion of business partnerships.
