National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva and deputies took part in the celebrations of the National Holiday,  March 3rd 


The ceremony has taken place in front of the Monument of the Unknown Soldier in Sofia where the national flag was hoisted and flowers and wreaths were laid. The ceremony was attended by President Georgi Parvanov, PM Boyko Borisov, public figures, politicians, clergymen and a lot of citizens.
March 3rd is one of Bulgaria’s symbols of statehood. In her address Tsetska Tsacheva noted that this date marks the beginning of the triad of important events – “liberation, unification, independence” that made possible in the long run the accession of the country to the European Union. In her view the politicians of today should address the present time issues of citizens, taking upon themselves the responsibility for the future and the young generation of the country.
