National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva and members of the parliament participated in celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Valor and the Bulgarian Army - May 6^th. They attended the ceremonial consecration of the military colors and of the country’s sacred flags. The traditional ritual dedicated to the Christian holiday of St. George, the patron of the armed forces, was held in front of the monument of the Unknown Soldier in Sofia by Bishop John of Znepole. Flowers and wreaths were laid in front of the monument. The honor guard’s wind orchestra played the national anthem of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Later on Tsetska Tsacheva attended the traditional military parade of the Bulgarian army at “Knyaz Alexander I” Sq in Sofia.
